How is the Iridium Edge® installed on a Kenyan fleet vehicle?

TrackAlways technicians install the Iridium Edge® at your yard or a partner workshop in Nairobi and regional towns. Most light-vehicle installs take 45–90 minutes; tank sensors and trailer locks take longer because of calibration and mounting.

Is the Iridium Edge® compatible with the Venus fleet platform?

Yes. The Iridium Edge® is sold and supported as part of TrackAlways deployments on Venus, so live data, alerts, and history appear in the same East Africa fleet dashboard used in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, and Ethiopia.

What battery or power setup does the Iridium Edge® use?

Power depends on the model. Wired trackers run from the vehicle 12V/24V supply with a backup cell; e-locks and BLE sensors use their own packs. Use the specifications on this page for the exact capacity and standby time.
