Nairobi-based and remote roles across East Africa

Build and maintain TrackAlways mobile apps for fleet tracking, telematics, and customer-facing features across iOS and Android. Tech stack: React Native (Expo), TypeScript, Kotlin, Swift, REST APIs, and Mapbox.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of professional mobile development experience
Strong React Native experience; comfortable with Expo and TypeScript
Native skills in Kotlin (Android) and/or Swift (iOS) for modules, performance, and store builds
Proven experience deploying apps to the App Store and Google Play (release pipelines, signing, store listings)
Experience with maps, GPS/location services, push notifications, and real-time data
Familiar with Git, code review, and working alongside backend (Node.js) APIs
Based in Kenya or East Africa (remote considered for the right candidate)
